Activity Description:

Digital therapeutics (DTx) are emerging as a novel treatment modality for a wide range of health conditions, either as stand-alone products or for use in conjunction with other treatments. Providers and other stakeholders are using digital health technologies to reduce inefficiencies, improve access, reduce costs, increase quality, and make medicine more personalized for patients. This session will look at available products and what distinguishes them as DTx, opportunities for DTx integration into patient care, opportunities for DTx to improve patient experience, and what’s hot in the DTx pipeline.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Review available digital therapeutic products and what distinguishes them as digital therapeutics.
2. Describe opportunities for digital therapeutics to be integrated into patient care.
3. Identify opportunities to increase patient touch points via digital therapeutics that improve patient experience.
4. Identify emerging digital therapeutics and their potential roles in the delivery of health care.

This activity consists of an audio recording, pre-test assessment questions (not required to pass to continue), post-test questions (required to pass with a score of 70% or higher) and a specific activity evaluation.
