Course Description: 

As treatment options continue to expand for highly prevalent eye disorders such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic macular edema (DME), it is essential to stay up to date with novel agents and biosimilars in the ophthalmic category. This session will include an overview of the anti-VEGF drugs used for ophthalmic conditions, focusing on their utilization trends and management strategies. Additionally, the faculty will discuss the management of interchangeable biosimilars from a medical benefit perspective. Join this session to learn about current drug trends, clinical strategies, and the robust pipeline in the biosimilars ophthalmic space.
