Program Description

Join Haider Andazola, Counsel at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP, for a one-hour Continuing Pharmacy Education session on the role of the federal judicial branch and health policy. This session includes an overview of the federal judicial system and how cases are elevated to the nation’s “court of last appeal.” Participants will also receive updates on ongoing health-related litigation, covering topics such as the Inflation Reduction Act, 340B drug discount program, coverage of vaccines, and restructuring of the federal workforce. Participants will also receive an outline of the avenues individuals or organizations may take to have their advocacy heard by federal courts.
