Course Description
Join AMCP Policy & Government Relations staff for a discussion on the latest trends in state-level pharmacy policy. This session will identify state activity related to AMCP’s policy priorities, including electronic prescription technology and value-based care. AMCP staff will also look forward to the health policy possibilities for the newly-seated state legislatures.

Pharmacists who practice in managed care settings.

At the completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the major trends in proposed state managed care policy.
- Identify the current status of state electronic prescribing and value-based care policy.
- Discuss what trends are likely to continue or arise during the 2023-24 legislative sessions.
