Join this live webinar to examine real-world data illuminating challenges in managed care decision-making related to neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), and retinal vein occlusion (RVO) with anti-VEGF/Ang therapies, including interpreting rapidly evolving clinical data, determining patient selection criteria, and applying the latest evidence into managed care decision-making frameworks.
12-1pm ET
Cell and gene therapies represent a groundbreaking shift in the treatment of rare and complex diseases, offering the potential for long-term or curative benefits. The pipeline for these therapies continues to expand; however, many of these therapies have experienced slower-than-expected market uptake. This webinar aims to explore the current and future landscape of cell and gene therapies, highlighting late-stage developments and the key clinical considerations that will impact treatment selection. In addition, our experts will examine the unexpected market dynamics and factors contributing to the uptake and success of cell and gene therapies.
2-3pm ET
Overcoming Barriers and Understanding the Patient and Payer Journey with Sickle Cell Therapy
This course provides an in-depth exploration of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation’s (CMMI) Cell and Gene Therapy Access Model. Participants will examine the goals, structures, and potential impact of this model on patient access to innovative therapies from a state-payer perspective.
The course will also cover the process of preparing and administering cell and gene therapies, offering insights from both patient and caregiver perspectives. The patient journey for cell and gene therapies is often complex and multifaceted. Patients and caregivers face numerous challenges, including navigating the preparation and administration of therapies, managing side effects, and coordinating care across multiple healthcare providers.
