Unlocking the Value of Patient-Centered Research for Payer Decision Making
Webinar recorded on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 12pm ET Pricing: Free for Members and $99 for Non-Members
Program Description
There is growing recognition that involving patients in health care research and decision-making can improve health care delivery and quality across a range of decision-making contexts. However, several uncertainties surrounding patient-centered research, including how payers use it, may undermine future investment. This can result in missed opportunities to engage patients in meaningful research and improve health outcomes. This session will examine the opportunities and challenges associated with generating and using patient-centered research from multiple stakeholder perspectives, including payers, researchers, and policymakers. It will also share key insights from a national effort to engage public and private payers in discussions about using patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) in their decision-making. In addition, actionable strategies will be presented for increasing the use and relevance of patient-centered research.
