Program Description

Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a progressive disease in which changes in the right heart can provide important insight into disease progression and patient risk. This webinar will examine the relationship between PAH and right-heart structure and function, the role of right-heart assessment within a multidimensional approach to monitoring PAH, and the importance of risk assessment and treatment goals in evaluating disease status. Participants will gain a broader understanding of why the right heart is an important consideration when assessing the clinical burden and management of PAH.

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe how PAH progression affects the right heart and contributes to overall disease burden.
  2. Explain the role of right-heart assessment within a comprehensive approach to evaluating disease status and patient risk.
  3. Discuss the importance of ongoing monitoring, risk assessment, and treatment goals in PAH management.
