Program Description
Hemophilia B, a rare X-linked bleeding disorder caused by deficiency of coagulation factor IX (FIX), carries a significant clinical, humanistic, and economic burden for patients and the managed care organizations that support them. Building on insights from AMCP's June 2026 Market Insights expert panel, this webinar reviews the limitations of current factor replacement therapy, the clinical evidence and coverage considerations for etranacogene dezaparvovec-drlb (Hemgenix), and the challenges payers face in determining coverage eligibility and managing long-term durability uncertainty. The discussion also covers evidence generation priorities and alternative financing strategies, including outcomes-based agreements and annuity models, that are essential to improving access. The webinar closes with practical, panel-suggested actions for payers across care delivery, data and evidence, and financing.
This program is supported by CSL Behring.
