Advancing Patient-Centered Care in Narcolepsy Type 1: Integrating the Latest Evidence, Guidelines, and Treatment Innovations
Pricing: Free for Members and Non-Members
Course Description
For people living with narcolepsy type 1, getting the right diagnosis and accessing effective treatment can be a long road, often lasting many years. As new therapies targeting novel pathways move closer to availability, managed care has an opportunity to rethink how we support these patients, with coverage design and shared decision-making. This session puts the patient perspective front and center. We'll explore what individuals with narcolepsy need from their care, how emerging treatment options may address gaps left by current therapies, and how payers can support efforts to improve access and outcomes.
This activity is supported by an independent educational grant from Takeda Pharmaceuticals, U.S.A., Inc.
Target Audience
Pharmacists who practice in managed care settings.
