Pricing: Free for Members and Non-Members
Course Description
Considering the complexities of managing schizophrenia in the United States, this session addresses the disease of schizophrenia from the patient, clinical expert, and managed care pharmacist perspective.
A comprehensive review of the clinical aspects of schizophrenia, focusing on its prevalence, diagnosis, progression, complications, and treatment challenges, will be provided, as well as the managed care strategies essential for improving access, adherence, and health outcomes for individuals with schizophrenia. Faculty will emphasize the unique challenges faced by at-risk populations, particularly within diverse and underserved communities, and explore the economic impact of treatment-resistant and poorly controlled schizophrenia.
