Program Description

This pre-symposium webinar aims to enhance the effectiveness of the upcoming Research Symposium by establishing a foundational understanding of key concepts and topics. This interactive webinar will help set the stage for a productive, in-person symposium and a way to enhance networking and collaboration ahead of the live symposium itself.

Learning Objectives

  • Introduce participants to two frameworks setting the stage for the Research Symposium:
    • The Patient's Medication Access Journey: a conceptual framework focused beyond adherence | Journal of Managed Care & Specialty Pharmacy (jmcp.org)
    • The Pharmacoequity Measurement Framework
  • Align key concepts and terminology around healthcare disparities, health equity, and disparities in medication use.
  • Share goals for the Research Symposium, including a template for the Roadmap. The template will capture short, medium, and long-term steps that various stakeholders should consider operationalizing within their own organizations or in partnership with other stakeholders.
