Course Description
Managed care pharmacy professionals rely on peer-reviewed evidence to ensure patients have access to high-quality, cost-effective medications. All stakeholders involved in producing peer-reviewed publications bear a responsibility in ensuring that published research meets the highest ethical and quality standards. In this session, faculty will describe best practices in peer-reviewed publishing, with a focus on the Journal of Managed Care and Specialty Pharmacy (JMCP). This session is appropriate for researchers, medical writers, publications professionals, and peer-reviewers. Attendees of this session are eligible to enroll in JMCP’s peer-reviewer mentorship program.
