Program Description
Community health workers (CHWs) are frontline public health workers who are trusted members of the community and play an influential role in mitigating health disparities. The multifaceted responsibilities of CHWs, community health navigators and community health centers allow them to have a great impact on reducing health inequities within diverse communities.
This webinar will discuss collaborative strategies implemented by national organizations and community-based organizations, emphasizing the integration of CHWs. Discussions will center on addressing health disparities, providing culturally competent care, and developing successful partnerships. Attendees will gain insights into the powerful collaboration potential between CHWs, community-based organizations and health organizations through dynamic discussion.
