Alopecia Areata can occur in patients at any age and often has an unpredictable course. Up to 1 in 4 patients with alopecia areata are at risk of developing alopecia totalis or alopecia universalis. For patients with alopecia areata, there remains a need for more treatment options. Alopecia areata is a systemic autoimmune disease with an underlying immuno-inflammatory pathogenesis.  This sponsored webinar provides an overview of the impact and burden on patients with severe alopecia areata, an introduction to a new treatment option including initiation and monitoring, and the consideration of appropriate patients for treatment.
