Overview
Pricing: Free for Members and $30 for Non-Members
Course Description
AMCP Foundation has developed an Emerging Trends Initiative to develop a process for identifying and assessing emerging trends that will impact aspects of managed care pharmacy within the next five years and to use this information as we help equip managed care pharmacists to be prepared for these trends.
AMCP Foundation has developed and deployed an IRB-approved survey instrument in consultation with a multidisciplinary Advisory Panel and Steering Committee. These stakeholders helped inform the survey instrument which identified areas within five key domains: information technology, therapeutics & diagnostics, payment models, pharmacy operations, and public policy.
Managed care pharmacy experts were invited to participate in this survey. Participation was voluntary, and responses were used solely in the aggregate to examine emerging trends and equip managed care pharmacists to prepare for these trends in the five years. The results of the 2024 survey are being made available to enable strategic planning within one’s organization and across the whole of managed care pharmacy.
Target Audience
Pharmacists who practice in managed care settings.
