Precision Medicine in Breast Cancer: Navigating Access, Evidence, and Emerging Therapies in Managed Care
Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 1pm-2pm PT
Pricing: Participants must be registered for the AMCP California Day of Education. Click here to register.
Course Description
Precision medicine is rapidly transforming breast cancer care through advances in genomic profiling, molecular subtyping, targeted therapies, and companion diagnostics. This program will provide an overview of the evolving breast cancer landscape and examine how precision medicine approaches are improving treatment selection, outcomes, and quality of life for patients. Faculty will review emerging therapies and the growing body of real-world evidence that supports managed care decision-making, particularly for novel and accelerated-approval treatments. Through case-based discussions, participants will explore the practical application of precision oncology evidence and strategies for integrating these therapies into managed care practice. The session will also address regional access challenges, reimbursement considerations, and payer approaches to improving equitable access to precision medicine for patients with breast cancer.
