Program Description

AMCP is launching the Health Disparities LINK, a new member‑driven community created to turn insight into action across managed care pharmacy. Building on the foundational learnings from AMCP’s 2024 Health Disparities Symposium and key reflections from 2025, this kickoff session explores why inequities persist in access, quality, and outcomes—and how themes from “The Education Gap is the Equity Gap: Using Data and SDOH to Empower Smarter Health Decisions: Where Analytics Meet Awareness—and Knowledge Becomes Care” help frame the pathway forward.

This session will highlight how disparities rooted in health literacy, information access, and social determinants of health (SDOH) shape real‑world decision‑making, and how payers can leverage data, analytics, and targeted interventions to promote equitable care and coverage. Attendees will gain insight into the Health Disparities LINK’s 2026 focus areas, early workstreams, and opportunities to contribute case examples, tools, and best practices.

AMCP’s LINK communities (Learning, Innovation, Networking, Knowledge) connect members around priority topics to accelerate practical solutions that meaningfully reduce disparities in managed care.
